fall, oh fall, where are you fall?

i've had about enough of summer. for reals. it's not that i don't enjoy the time away from school, evenings with friends, drinking, debauchery, etc. it's just that i've had my fill of feeling like a melting pot of goo who has nothing to say and no brain power. school is in the air, and i'm longing to wear sweaters and jeans again.

really, there are only so many ways that one can wear a wife beater. i rock it nicely, but honestly...

the new students in my program are a mixed bag, but promising, nonetheless. the star or the show is laura, an anarchist waif who likes diesel jeans, white belts, the simpsons, ibooks and is lately of DC where she got an MA in french lit. she likes to go out, is a bit on the quiet side, and moved into my building! this is awesome because it is convenient to hang out with her and i get 50 dollars for referring her to the oxford square community.

next, there are five boys, who are all pretty indistinguishable from one another so far.

tim - went to university of colorado, is boyish and seems nice/fun.
justin - friend of alum, sara. is a bit cocky, outgoing, and gives me free cigarettes. this is bad.
jesus - a lithe latino from miami, he redefines the word intense. often the results of his oral diarhhea are comical, but more often he makes me want to drive a spike through my head. or his hands and feet.
anthony - quiet, little information thus far. but he tucks his longish hair behind his ears more than seems necessary or appropriate.
chris - see anthony. lives in cincinnati suburb.

fingers crossed for a fun year.
i miss you all.
